Spring 2010 Soccer - Key Dates Neighborhood Sports has completed regular registration for its spring season of recreational soccer in Steiner Ranch. The program offers kids, ages 4-12, an opportunity to play recreational soccer, locally in your neighborhood. SPRING SOCCER REGISTRATION COMPLETE!! Announcing New Age Brackets for Spring 2010: 8-9 yr Boys & 8-9 yr Girls; 10-12 Boys, 10-12 Girls SOCCER SPRING 2010 SEASON “Practice in your neighborhood, Play in your neighborhood!” Game locations: Steiner Ranch Fields Practices: practice fields are chosen by the head coach & include conveniently located fields in Steiner Ranch, River Place, and Grandview Hills Soccer age brackets: 4 yr Co-ed, 5 yr Co-ed, 6 yr Co-ed, 7 yr Boys, 7 yr Girls, 8-9 yr Boys, 8-9 yr Girls, 10-12 yr Boys, 10-12 yr Girls
(Spring 2010 default age bracket based on player age as of March 1, 2010) Soccer Player Skills Day: February 20, 2010 - Bella Mar Field, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM ((Complete)) Coaches Meeting: March 6, 2010 - Bella Mar Field, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Season: Saturdays, March 27, 2010 thru May 8, 2010; World Cup Tournament VI: May 22-23, 2010. Practice: One weekly practice. (Day and time set by coach)
Regular Registration ends February 20, 2010 or when a bracket becomes full; whichever comes first. WHAT YOU GET Head Coach Volunteer Child Fee: $70, Regular Player Soccer Fee $95: Includes City, Club, or International Replica Jersey, Regular Season Games, World Cup Tournament, Trophy, Referees, Field Facility Play both, Soccer & NFL Youth Flag Football for only $170, a savings of $20! Now you can play Soccer & NFL Youth Flag Football on the same weekend. Games will be scheduled at opposite times of the day so there will be no conflict. All in your neighborhood! The program focuses on non-competitive skills development. Our program encourages coaches to focus on individual skills development with a basic introduction to the game. Teams hold a single 60 minute practice session each week. Games are played on Saturday using a 3v3 playing format. Team sizes not to exceed six. Players will use a size 3 ball.
